Verida is a privacy focused identity and data company. We like to say we build tools to put people back in control of their data.

So that means that they keep their data encrypted and under their control, which reduces the target for those sort of data leaks anyway. If some company doesn’t have that data, that private data, then there is nothing to leak.

And we see a lot of interest from people who are talking now about data liability, like the idea that having people’s data on their books is a liability to that company, and it’s something that they have to keep track of, they have to talk about in board meetings, and increAsingly, there’s financial penalties associated with that leaking.
