Talking about our web three projects, our nonprofit projects, our fashion projects, and when we come back to Australia, it feels very siloed by industry and it feels like you’re not really allowed to step out of your lane. And both Michelle and I are not very big on lanes.
We like kind of a wide space to move and grow. And so we really wanted to create something where every corner of that space had inspiring and interesting content and very much voices that maybe haven’t had those opportunities to be amplified before.
So the COVID project did a takeover of the bathroom. So everybody who went to the bathroom had to learn about period poverty.
That’s like how it had to go. All of our speakers were able to talk about these incredible areas of their industries that they rarely get a chance to stand up and speak about.
It was really a very kind of special day where it felt like there were some really exceptional Australian women who had the floor for the first time and basically grabbed that mic and told everybody what they’ve been up to. And I think certainly the feedback that we’ve been getting has just been people being like, we need these all day, every day, in our sleep, during the daytime, every hour of the day.
