Yeah, so we like that terminology saying that we build tools to put people in control of their data. There’s obviously a lot of follow ups around that.
Like, what does that mean? And the other thing we like to say is that we do end to end encrypted databases.
So people who understand end to end encrypted messaging, there is a little bit of knowledge around the idea of signal being like that and a few other applications. And we say we do that for databases.
So the way that signal means that the people that run signal can’t read your messages. And when you put on private mode on WhatsApp or Facebook messenger, it means that Facebook can’t read those messages.
We have the same technology implemented in our database. So when you’re using our database, the places where our database is in use, they can’t read that data either.
It’s only the person with that key. So that’s what that end to end encrypted means.
